Frankfurt, 13th September 2016 - UFI Filters, a world leader in fluid filtering technologies, has chosen Automechanika Frankfurt as the place to demonstrate its experience as a supplier to the leading world manufacturers and the consequent advantages for the UFI and Sofima aftermarket lines.
The design of the company stand reflects the shape of a filter. Inside the spotlights are technologies developed by UFI Filters for some of the world's most important manufacturers. Nine elegant glass showcases will display examples of the company's wide range of products - including filters for air, fuel, engine oil and passenger compartments - for both light and heavy-duty applications.
UFI Filters highlights in particular the two innovative filtering modules developed for the new Alfa Romeo Giulia: the oil module with heat exchanger, optimised to reduce weight, and the diesel module made of DFM (Deep Filtration Media). The high-performance oil module for the Maserati single turbo engine with rear wheel drive, consisting of two assembled blocks in die-cast aluminium, and the diesel filter for the new Nissan-Renault Qashqai crossover will also be on show.
In the section of the stand where the products are on display, pride of place goes to two important areas of collaboration that confirm the high level of technology and reliability of UFI filtering components: Hyundai, for the diesel modules for the entire European production, and Volvo, for the oil modules for all the engine versions.
As a further tangible demonstration of UFI Filters' OE know-how, the new BMW 3-litre engine (for which the company makes the oil filtering module for both the diesel and the petrol version) will be on display, along with the Ferrari F1 engine, testimony to over 30 years' experience at the highest level in motor racing.
A special area has been set aside for UFI Filter's complete Gen 2 Plus module – an important innovation for diesel filtering designed to meet the increasingly demanding water separation needs of the Euro 6 common rail diesel engines.
The Frankfurt fair will also be the occasion for unveiling the new UFI Filters slogan “Chosen by the Best”, which emphasises the company's long-standing collaborations with leading worldwide manufacturers. It will be included in all future company communications. There are also strong references to the aftermarket world: the stand is in blue and red – colours that distinguish the company in the spare parts market under the brand names UFI and Sofima.
