LPG and Methane are considered to be eco-friendly fuels because they do not contain benzene nor lead and their combustion does not emit the heavy particulate, such as the sulfur and aldehydes that are present in ordinary fuels.
This type of fuel, in addition, is only minimally responsible for formation of city smog, caused mostly by fine dust and gaseous emissions of nitrogen oxides.
Special attention must be given to area of safety, considering the very nature of LPG, a mix of butane and propane, and for this reason the Ministry of Transportation requires compliance with existing regulations.
The UFI LPG filter has, therefore, achieved certification in accordance with European ECE/UN R67/01 Regulation class 2A.
